Your data
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Nami collects, why it is used, how account data is separated, and the choices available to you.
Last updated: July 30, 20261. Information we collect
We collect account information you submit, such as email, display name, password hash, profile fields, avatar, preferences, likes, matches, messages, support requests, and payment-order references. We also process security and usage data such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, session identifiers, page and conversion events, and abuse signals.
2. How we use information
We use data to operate accounts, preserve account-level isolation, deliver matching and messaging, display purchases and balances, prevent fraud, moderate reports, provide support, measure conversion, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. Analytics events are used in aggregate and are not sold.
3. Account separation and security
Likes, matches, orders, and messages are associated with an internal account ID and checked against the authenticated session. Private account responses are marked no-store. Security reduces risk but no system is completely immune from misuse or attack.
4. Sharing
We share data only with infrastructure, payment-verification, security, and support providers needed to operate the service, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information. A blockchain transaction is publicly visible on that blockchain and cannot be made private by Nami.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while the account is active and for a limited period afterward when needed for disputes, fraud prevention, payment records, safety, or legal obligations. Deletion requests are handled under the Account Deletion page.
6. Your choices
You may edit profile fields, withdraw consent for optional processing, request access or correction, close the account, request deletion, or object to certain processing where local law provides that right. Some payment and safety records may need to be retained.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use a secure session cookie for login and local storage for device preferences and a local account-consistency marker. Clearing browser data may remove device preferences but does not delete the server account.
8. International processing
Nami is accessible internationally, so data may be processed in countries other than your own. We use service providers and safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law.
